Building and Programming Circuits That Control Motors
COURSE ID: MAE134
Course Overview

One of the most important elements of circuitry is its connection to motors. In this course, you will gain valuable insights and experience on how to build and program circuits to control motors. You will first understand the purpose and mathematical underpinnings of a motor driver circuit, providing you with the tools you will need for exploration and innovation. You will then build a circuit to drive three common types of motors. Finally, you will write the code to control these motors, completing the process and providing you with the theoretical foundation and tangible techniques to apply in your future work.

You are required to have completed the following courses or have equivalent experience before taking this course:

  • Building a Basic Circuit
  • Building Time-Varying Circuits
  • Programming a Circuit's Microcontroller
